Paul Anderson (Retired)
Paul founded Anderson Roofing Supplies in 2003, along with Steve, with the express purpose of putting customer service back into the industry. With over 30 years experience, working for some of the industry's best known roofing merchants in the South-East, Paul's passion and dedication to providing the best possible advice and service remains undiminished. Paul took well deserved retirement in April 2020. Both staff and customers hope Paul enjoys a long and healthy break!
Martin Woodman (Retired)
Martin was instrumental in establishing Anderson Roofing Supplies as a professionally run business, almost single handedly providing the leadership and knowledge with regard to many of the 'behind the scenes' activities necessary to ensure the smooth running of a successful, well managed and, most importantly, customer driven team. In this capacity, Martin was Company Secretary and a Director of Andersons' until his well earned retirement in 2015. Martin had joined Paul and Steve after a career working for an independent Builders Merchant and also the major tile manufacturer, Redland. Well liked, and respected by everyone who worked for, or alongside, him, Martin now enjoys travelling and pursuing his passion for photography amongst his other interests.
Steve is a co-founder of the company and has similarly worked for many years in the merchant side of our industry. Steve has been the driving force behind many of the new product ranges that we stock including rainwater goods and insulation.
Gavin came to Andersons from a local multi-chain merchant approximately 10 years ago. Now Sales Director, Gavin is based in the office and manages the counter-sales team as well as providing technical advice and undertaking estimates from architectural drawings, a service we provide free of charge to our customers, and to the public and self builders.
One of the newest members of the team, as Business Development Manager, Graham has over 30 years of experience in the pitched roofing industry, much of which he spent working in various roles for a major roof-tile manufacturer. Graham undertakes site visits on behalf of our customers to offer technical advice, provide site assistance and to provide estimates (either on site or from drawings) and quotes.
Junior has been with us approximately 9 years and has been helping to manage the sales team at Wokingham for a number of years. As of January 2020 Junior has moved to our new branch in Camberley as the Depot Manager.
Sam, Nathan, Josh, Jaik & James
The guys who look after and service our customers in the sales office on a day to day basis. All dedicated to providing the best quality service and assisting wherever they can. All of our team can assist with roof estimates, pricing and scheduling of deliveries, so please feel free to talk to any of them about your requirements. Sam & Nathan also have experience of working in our yard and warehouse. Josh also used to work in our yard, but re-joined us a couple of years ago to work in our sales office and has now transferred to our Camberley branch. All have earn't the respect of our customers and suppliers, like everyone else who works for us.
Our Accounts Team
With Anne retiring at the end of April 2020, Karyn and Lisa now make up our accounts team, ably dealing with most of our administrative and accounting procedures. Karyn and Lisa also offer support to our sales team whenever needed and help keep our customers up to date when our suppliers implement price increases or introduce new products. Everyone, of course, wishes Anne a long and happy retirement together with her husband Allister.
Our Yard & Warehouse Team
Our yard and warehouse team bring an unrivalled level of service to our customers. Nik, Paul, Mark, Robert, Ashley, Warren, Jamie and Dave have extensive knowledge of the products that we stock, and are happy to help both the trade and public visitors. Nik has now transferred to our Camberley branch so you can be assured of excellent service there as well. Steve O'Connor, our stock controller, supported by Steve Smith, make up our dedicated purchasing team who are always looking for the best new products and making sure that products are available when you require them.
Last, but definitely not least, our team of 3 full-time drivers, Mick, Rob and Craig, are the only people that many of our customers actually see. Professional, courteous and always willing to help they will always endeavour to get the product where you require it in a safe and efficient manner. Please do warn us in advance though if you have any specific delivery requirements or if there is limited access to your site!
